- Initiate microwave dessert making by taking cake pan being microwave safe (Preferably 5x9x3) and completely grease it up using cooking spray.
- Then take up a stand mixer and medium mixing bowl. Mix in almond paste and beat it smoothly at low speed. Then mix up butter and sugar; continue beating for the next 5 minutes.
- Now mix up eggs and incorporate with the mixture. Then it’s time to mix in vanilla, orange zest, and yogurt.
- In the next step, take medium mixing bowl and fill it by mixing up salt, flour and baking powder. Mix them all in gradual manner.
- Mix bowl mixture with almond paste mixture to make fine batter.
- Pour the beat up mixture over pan. Then allow it to gradually microwave at HIGH for the next 50-55 minutes or more if required; wait till cake turns brown. Microwave till a toothpick emerges out clean and you get desired softness.
- Take out and allow few minutes for the lovely cake to cool down. Slice up and enjoy!!
